Welcome to the website of St. Teresa’s Primary School. Our school is a happy, family environment, hardworking and successful. The child is at the centre of everything we do. Our whole school community shares one common goal – to do the very best for all children in our care and live out our school motto ‘Deeds Not Words’.
We are a co-educational maintained primary school and we seek to educate within a caring, Catholic ethos. We welcome children of all faiths whose beliefs are respected. Our school caters largely for the children of St.Teresa’s Parish and we work closely with St. Teresa’s Nursery School, St Teresa’s Youth Club and with the many local grammar and secondary schools to which the Year Seven children transfer.
Our school has a long tradition of academic achievement, and children are encouraged to achieve their best through a broad and challenging curriculum.

Additionally Please read the Schools School Development Plan for 2024-2027, which will outline the key priorities for development in our school over the next three years. This document outlines our school visionary framework and will drive all school improvements during that period. We are also currently drafting a child-friendly version of the plan which is being created by our very own Student Council so that the children of our school understand what we are all trying to develop in our school, we look forward to sharing that with our school community very soon.
